Considered the most petulant member of the so-called asinine generation of poets, Richie Narvaez quarreled with the group when they refused to acknowledge his new haircut (see Lee's Unclad Tiffin, HarperCollins, 1994). Diagnosed with dysthymic disorder, he spent several years under his kitchen table and would only come out when plied with two or three gin and tonics and a really good steak. He is now a successful dog walker.
