Quint McGuinley
(1957 - )
Mr. McGuinley's favorite sports team, Los Pies, hails from Spain. ''They are a young group of bandeleros,'' he says, ''striving through great physical exertion and laser-precise reflexes to bring attention to the greatest and most unrecognized sport in the entire world: hackeysack.'' When he isn't writing poetry, Mr. McGuinley stays busy spearfishing in the Mediterranean, cloaked in a shroud of seaweed and periwinkles.
