A professor of mass communications and film in Kansas, Bill DeArmond says his favorite color is red because he grew up a fan of the Cincinnati Reds. His books include Hail, Freedonia! and Other Tales and Visions of Shadow and Light. His latest is Serving Compassionate Conservatives, A Cookbook (Lulu Press).
