
Dylan Thomas
(1914 -1953)
A Welshman, Mr. Thomas is widely regarded as one of the 20th century's most influential lyrical poets. He could drink like a fish, too. Although Mr. Thomas also published short stories and film scripts, and he publicly performed his works and conducted radio broadcasts. His most famous works are Under Milk Wood, a radio play, and ''Do Not Go Gentle into that Good Night,'' a poem written about his dying father.
