Bart Bittman (1959 - )

Born into a family of nine children in Long Island and brought up in Brooklyn, Mr. Bittman began his career as a journalist and editor. He was for a time editor of The Lawn Guylander, which was his own zine stand that he ran himself, but unfortunately that only lasted for one month. During his early years, Mr. Bitman inherited his cranky liberal, intellectual, and political attitudes largely from his father, Carl, who introduced him to Jan Murray, Stella Stevens, and Count Chocula.
