Edmund Conti (1935 - )
Mr. Conti writes poetry because I realized in high school he liked rhyming. It took him another 60 years to realize that poetry editors do not like rhymes.''At my son's wedding in Door County, Wisconsin, I sat on a deck overlooking Green Bay and had a captive audience that I read poems to,'' says Mr. Conti. ''I don't think they minded that much. I thought I was great.'' Mr. Conti's work has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Sunday Times, Light, and The Quarterly. He is also the inventor of Bananagrams, an anagram game in couplets, which have been published in Word Ways and Games Magazine.
