Adam Vatterott b. 1991
The Asinine Poetry Intern-at-Large, Mr. Vatterott supposes a robot could perform slam poetry, but that would be misleading, since the robot did not write it. "I suppose a programmer could write a poetry-writing algorithm based on randomizers and set to certain form — but that's just it! If the robot's verse was set to slots and limits, would it be missing the spirit of slam poetry, or would it be perfect?" Adds Mr. Vatterott, "I can't really imagine myself on the Enterprise — too many red alerts, hull breaches, and photon torpedoes to deal with."
