J.R. McCarthy b. 1962

A Bronx native, Mr. McCarthy once had a chat with Allen Ginsberg in the vestibule of St. Mark's Church and recently had a terse postal exchange with Billy Collins. He has published one thin volume of poetry, Ambivalid and Back in the Holy Bronx. "My next volume, The Stations of the Cross, will be published as soon as I remember where I put it."
