I discovered last night
my cat fetches like a dog
he chases after the toy I throw
and brings it back to me

Cats are not supposed to fetch
should I now take him for a walk in the park?
or teach him how to bark?
or have him lift his leg to pee?

I don't know why my cat fetches
maybe he was a dog in a previous life
or maybe he learned from a dog at the shelter
or maybe he just has canine envy
