The invisible stuff they say
takes up 75 percent of everything
They say they found it in Minnesota
I've never been to Minnesota
Maybe 75 percent of everything is there

Like maybe if I go there I can find things like
the truth about your friend
who always shows up whenever we hang out
or the right gift for you
or maybe waiting in that dark matter
is where I put my Wayne Gretzky rookie card
or the last 10 minutes of my grandma's life
that I missed because I was on that date with you
at least I thought it was a date

I hope they really found dark matter
they say it's what keeps stars from flying away
what keeps gas balls in balls
I guess it's like universal glue
that doesn't come out with hot water
or when you grow new skin
maybe it's that glue that makes me sticky,
I mean, that keeps me attached to you
