Gender Wars

by Graham Everett

COMFORTABLE with you being lots of different characters
like one of your many sides hitting the volume
Liz Strata armed to the teeth, boobs & bayonets
You keep me thinking & doing rather than just thinking

I'm Sir Circus juggling bowling balls & razor blades
You ask me to stay the night & love you, I just might

If you accuse me of being after your money
I'll steal your grandmother's ruby necklace
But only after weeks of calling each other honey
then you'll really feel like you’ve been had

I'm over here -- when you're ready call a cab
for me so we can meet someplace special
drinks, dinner & a classy place -- all on your tab

We can go crazy but no getting mad
