a little lady tiny
by John Powers
A little lady walk the street
a lady quite indeed
and all above the little lass
was everybody's feed
so small and tiny was she now
I took her for a bug
until she spoke out loud I said
I thought you was a slug.
Oh no, I am a little lady
A lady quite indeed
I am so small that for a seat
I use a flower seed
I said ''NOTHING!'' like something never
and everthing is real,
I turned to quip how 'bout that weather
but squished her with my heel.
I felt such a shoe.
