Pun and Circumstance

I can't believe how
some people are.
But that word-
it doesn't fit every situation,
now does it?
Pomposity, for the ornately ostentatious,
or pompay for snooty Italians.
Pompilot's taking it a bit too far.
Even I can admit that much.
For the stuffed-shirt baker, there's
pompyseed bread.
I could make the obvious
correlation between
stuck-up cheerleaders
and pompoums, but
I won't.
Why would I?
And for the college student,
or the immigrant,
or general fan of Chinese food,
there's my personal favorite:
