I got married on June 18.
It was perfect. Beyond heavenly.
Mice and birds attended
to my trailing veil.
All the woodlands rang with rejoicing
and belted a melodious hymn
as they celebrated our union.
Tiny creatures shook leaves, flower petals, onto us.
The wind unfurled my waist-long hair
and boughs sighed at our good fortune.
A deer approached and nuzzled me
and bounded away with a trail of flowers
growing in its wake.
Then I pulled out my oversized hammer
And hit the bell on the strongman contest.

. . . maybe I've seen too many cartoons.
But you get the gist of it.
